The mixed martial arts sequences are all designed to be visually stunning, combining power and grace. The actors' physical conditioning is top-notch, and while the action scenes may not be entirely innovative overall, they are executed to a very high standard. The 1-on-2 fight sequence at 48 minutes and the one-on-one fight at 61 minutes are particularly outstanding and could be contenders for a Golden Eagle Award.

The plot is a definite weak point, and the fight choreography doesn't quite reach the heights of the third installment. It feels like it ends just as it's getting started, leaving you wanting more.

NB. Isaac Florentine is the producer this time. After changing the director, the pace of the movie is faster and no longer as smooth as the third installment. The action scenes are choreographed by Tim Man, who has worked with Adkins for many years. Compared with the previous work, the precision, violence, and length of the fight are even better. No wonder it has such a high score on IMDB after the premiere. The disadvantage is that the plot is relatively old-fashioned, and the ending feels rushed, as if the funding is about to run out. Hopefully, it can be released in theaters.
