Cannonball Run II

Cannonball Run II begins with J.J. McClure, played by Burt Reynolds, and Vicki Borman, played by Dom DeLuise, in jail after their escapades in The Cannonball Run. The film transitions to a new setting and premise as Victor and Vicki are released from jail. Victor manages to assemble a team by tracking down his associates from the first competition, including Ralph Hinkley, also known as the Sheriff, played by Dom DeLuise, Burt Reynolds returns as J.J. McClure for this sequel, who has no problem with another reckless adventure despite their previous experiences. Rita Moreno and Alex Rocco also return in this sequel as their characters in the first installment.
