Trailing behind the curious threads of an alien presence connects the Airman David with Roy as two parallel arcs converge into a peculiar relationship in this alien-ridden expedition. These seemingly disparate events, however, were ultimately connected, or so the enigmatic visitor from the sky would have the human species come to understand. Roy, David, and a small band of fellow travelers find themselves inexorably drawn to a remote location in Wyoming's Devils Tower region. With Roy acting as their seemingly intuitive, bewildered leader, the small group converge on this site – and an hour of human history will change in response to certain cosmic rituals.
