Conan the Barbarian is a classic fantasy masterpiece in the West! The name "Conan" was used for this character long before the Japanese Conan even came into existence.

Recycling a 40-year-old dish and trying to pass it off as fresh meat, this Conan transforms a once-charismatic Austrian warrior into a lifeless, uninspired brute. The elaborate mask, meant to be a focal point, lacks any distinctive features. The extreme violence feels staged and hollow, failing to capture the raw intensity of the original. To top it off, the visually uninspired and unnecessary 3D conversion only adds to the torment.

What a nonsensical story, riddled with so many things to complain about! The male lead's chest is bigger than the female lead's, and the bloodshed in the killings is like turning on a water faucet. Hilariously, the female villain's five metal finger claws are clearly on her hand, yet Conan inexplicably picks one up off the ground. Also, taking out the supernatural elements, you could practically give this plot summary to the movie "Immortals."

Born into savagery, he rises, his tribe annihilated, fueled by vengeance. Conan slays, he quests, he loves, he lusts, he battles monsters, he triumphs – though a power-up or two wouldn't hurt. This film delivers raw, unadulterated violence, carnage, sculpted abs, carnal desires, and the essence of barbarism. Blood flies in every direction! The director clearly prioritizes visceral thrills over deep narrative, and while some might find it lacking, others will revel in the carnage. The Sand People designs, however, provide a genuinely striking visual element. ★☆

Okay, here's a translation that captures the tone and meaning of the original review: "From adorable kid to creepy crone – with all that magic, why such a pathetic death? And seriously, what was the point of that mask?!"

Conan the Barbarian isn't just a brute with a sword—it's a reflection on power, legacy, and the unyielding spirit of resistance. This epic tale of blood and steel reminds us that true freedom is born from defiance, not submission.
