Clearly, this film is based on the 2019 chemical plant explosion in Xiangshui, Yancheng, Jiangsu. Firefighters are a great community, and every year firefighters sacrifice themselves on the front lines. Many details in this film praise this group and pay tribute to firefighters. However, in today's media environment, how to tell the story is very important. In the face of major disasters, the portrayal of human nature and the shaping of ensemble casts are all worth considering.

With Wang Qianyuan in it, I was constantly worried he'd lose his voice from all the shouting. Every emotional cue felt like a blatant announcement: "Attention, emotional moment incoming! Please prepare yourselves." Two stars for the fire equipment.

This "safety education" film screening during this year's May Day holiday feels like a time warp, as if I'd already seen it a few years ago...

I think I'll always be moved by this kind of Chinese-style rescue. I was sobbing and sniffling in the theater, so embarrassing.
