In a world where demons roam free and kill humans for their remaining life force, known as the "Biden Judou," Tanjiro Kamado has lost his family and most of his innocence. After his family was slaughtered by Muzan Kibutsuji, the primary demon responsible for the resurgence of demons, Tanjiro's sister was turned into a demon and he dedicated his life to becoming a demon slayer. With his unwavering resolve and unparalleled determination, Tanjiro sets out on a journey with his sisters, Nezuko, as his motivation to find a cure for the demon disease. Along the way, Tanjiro meets Inosuke Hashibira and Zenitsu Agatsuma, both strong-willed and tough individuals who challenge his unwavering spirit. As Tanjiro boards the Infinity Train with Inosuke and Zenitsu, he is greeted by a stern yet comradely figure, Kyojuro Rengoku, the Fire Hashira. Kyojuro takes a keen interest in observing Tanjiro, more specifically, observing the Demon Slayers Hashira who suspect a demon on the train is responsible for the recent disappearances of the past nine new train passengers who were all talented and tough demon slayers that is why he has to test Tanjiro with the new mission. Once the mission begins, Kyojuro and his men realize that a demon known as Akaza, a member of the Lower Six Demons and one of the most deadly and highly skilled of all demons, is on board the train and has been responsible for the torment and butchering of most of those brave demon slayers. This demon's presence marks the beginning of a treacherous battle for Tanjiro and his fellow demon slayers. The Infinity Train quickly becomes an eerie battleground where both humans and demons take refuge in a fight to the finish. Tanjiro and the Hashira seem completely outmatched as they lose the battle to Akaza, both his speed, combat prowess, and sheer ferocity quickly push the Hashira to their limits. So too for Tanjiro's close friend Inosuke. Another character in particular has been most notably shaken by this merciless loss, Zenitsu, in particular. His struggles with a demon right from the beginning has always been marked with fear and panic which the intense pressure from various factors, especially the numerous physical losses not to mention more recent loss that transpired during this brutal battle are taken extremely severe and lead to an instantaneous and potentially unstable internal mental reckoning. All such losses greatly raise emotional question marks too about his role within the group and wonder if his presence would serve any greater purpose. In this state of absolute despondency, Tanjiro and his allies meet their end on the perished 'Mugen' train with their desperate fight lost, one cannot help but ask the thought-provoking question when even the most spirited of young soul who is 'Kimetsu no Yaiba' is weakened, how could his strength never materialized into an actual lasting and meaningful victory? The harsh reality that could also provoke people with very dismal outlook. However, seemingly invincible Akaza is not the strongest that there is, a mysterious, powerful demon with the potential to save humanity but, seemingly incredibly oblivious to humanity. Revealing an extremely stunning display of inner, delicate, elegance and poise Kyojuro unflinchingly puts an end to Zenitsu's sudden distress with encouragement. Encouragement that would eventually drive his self-confidence beyond breaking point as Kyojuro battles Akaza for what would come out not to be as long-standing exchange but an extremely swift, exquisite, conclusion that is nothing short of striking terror into the very soul of this fierce beast with some of an incredibly delicate artful poetic rhythm and poise. It turns out, this extremely vital and precious life force will certainly be eternally remembered and highly discussed not on account or to even prove an inimical skill or brutal determination but more out to explain with utmost beauty this vital force called 'Hashira,' these people with an unparalleled resilience were also, somehow unexpectedly, capable of touching the soft yet resilient heart of much more young soul's heart.
