Diablo

Diablo is a 1986 American drama film directed by Reginald Hudlin. The movie is set in the 1940s and revolves around the life of Ben Williams, a man who has recently been released from prison after serving a year for a crime he did not commit. Upon his release, Ben finds himself struggling to adjust to the harsh realities of life outside the prison walls. He is aided by Bill Foster, a moral and principled lawyer who believes in rehabilitation rather than just punishment. Bill decides to take Ben under his wing and helps him find a job, get back on his feet, and also connect with his estranged family, including his daughter, Lynn.
