Do or Die

Plot
In a world devastated by a rapidly spreading virus, humanity teeters on the brink of collapse. The "Blue Death," as it has come to be known, causes its victims to accelerate through the aging process with alarming speed, accelerating from infant to adulthood in a matter of weeks, to frail, crippled elderly in mere months. Those who contract the virus have limited time, mere days to live before they succumb to an early grave. In this desolate backdrop, a glimmer of hope emerges. A mysterious cure has been discovered, an antidote capable of reversing the effects of the Blue Death. However, this salvation comes with a steep price tag - a hefty monthly fee that only the wealthy are able to afford. The catch: the antidote can only be purchased from a single company, "LifeCorp," who appears to have a stranglehold on the global market. Ava, a young woman who remains miraculously untouched by the Blue Death, carries an infected child within her womb. Her unborn child, the product of a brief encounter with a man who has long since fallen victim to the Blue Death, holds a rare spark of life. Ava's journey to save her child becomes the driving force behind her quest, and ultimately sets her on a path to unravel the dark underbelly of LifeCorp. As she delves deeper into the mysteries surrounding the antidote, Ava discovers that there are entire communities of people living on the periphery of society, those who can no longer afford to buy the life-saving cure. These "blue people" have adapted to their situation, and learned to eke out a meager existence in the harshest of conditions. Ava determines to find a way to access the cure, even if it means taking drastic measures. And so, with her young child growing more precarious by the day, she sets her sights on a journey to the Blue Lands, where a community of Blue People resides. Rumors suggest that these resourceful survivors have developed new ways of life, alternative sources of water, food, and, perhaps most importantly, access to the elusive antidote. Upon arrival in the Blue Lands, Ava discovers that the community relies on an underground black market for the cure. She encounters a network of smugglers and scavengers who make their livings by pilfering and distributing the antidote to desperate individuals who are in dire need. The group is led by a charismatic figure known as Jax, a resourceful young man with an unwavering determination to live on his own terms. As Ava navigates this precarious world of Blue People, she also discovers that the true intentions of LifeCorp are far-reaching and sinister. The company's real agenda is not focused on saving lives, but rather on controlling the flow of the antidote as a means of leveraging the desperation of the Blue People to secure a stranglehold on the remaining resources on the planet. Ava finds herself caught in a delicate balancing act, where the lives of her unborn child and countless other innocent individuals hang precariously in the balance. With her resolve strengthened, she becomes an integral part of Jax's mission to infiltrate LifeCorp's operations, steal vital information, and uncover the dark secrets beneath their seemingly benevolent facade. In the climactic final act, Ava and Jax devise a plan to breach LifeCorp's headquarters, in the hopes of exposing their exploitative business practices to the world. A daring heist unfolds as they infiltrate the heart of the company's stronghold, navigating a labyrinth of security systems and dodging heavily armed guards to reach the core of the facility, where the antidote's storage facility and LifeCorp's CEO reside. In the end, their mission is a resounding success, though its outcome remains precarious. The exposure of LifeCorp's wrongdoings stokes widespread outrage, leading to the collapse of the company's monopoly on the antidote. With the blue death now less deadly, the Blue Lands, once a symbol of hopelessness, is transformed into a beacon of hope as people begin to take the fight back from those who once profited from their despair. And so, the once seemingly hopeless future of this world takes on a glimmer of promise as the battle lines are drawn, marking the beginning of a new era where desperate lives now hold the promise of life anew.
