Plot

Nobita and the Island of Miracles - Animal Adventure, the 34th film in the Doraemon anime film series, is an adventurous tale that brings together two lovable characters and a cast of new faces in a thrilling story. The film starts with Nobita and Doraemon using the time-traveling ability of the time tree Mochi. Unlike other adventures, however, their journey is not solely for their own entertainment. Instead, they set their sights on catching a majestic bird that has been extinct for over 500 years. The film takes off when a massive, beautiful bird is spotted soaring through the skies above Shizuka's village. It's an unexpected sight, as this magnificent creature has been extinct for centuries. Nobita, being an avid bird lover, is particularly fascinated and immediately decides that he and Doraemon must catch the bird with the goal of bringing it back to its natural habitat. Their adventure is afoot as they set out to achieve their aim. Once they have successfully caught the magnificent creature, they face the monumental task of finding it a suitable home. Nobita's initial plan to build a large cage for the bird in the village is met with strong disapproval from his family, especially Doraemon, who is concerned about the well-being of the creature. In a moment of brilliant thought, Doraemon suggests that they travel back in time using the time tree Mochi once more. This time, they are determined to find out more about the history of the bird and its natural habitat. According to Shizuka's grandfather, who has been acting strangely since his encounter with Herakles, the bird was once native to a mystical place called Beremon Island. Doraemon's curiosity is piqued, as the only way forward is to visit this island, which he's convinced exists. Using the time-traveling Mochi time tree device, the duo finally lands on the enchanting island of Beremon, which has a rich history. Upon their arrival, they meet Herakles, a golden beetle with incredible intelligence and a strong sense of justice, who oversees the island. They soon discover that the Beremon Island is home to hundreds of species, all living in perfect harmony with each other. The island's inhabitants are shocked when they see the big, majestic bird in Nobita's possession. They realize that the bird must have been injured or lost from the island long ago, contributing to its extinction. Without hesitation, Herakles welcomes Nobita and Doraemon with open arms, and they all agree to work together to rehabilitate the injured bird back to its natural habitat. However, they face a series of challenges on the island, as they learn about its magical system and the complex relationships between the various species that inhabit it. They realize that the island's system can only be maintained if all species live in balance and harmony with one another. Meanwhile, Nobita and Doraemon are learning the ways of Beremon Island and the secrets of its magical ecosystem. They meet various friends on the island, including animals such as the 'Bulbul', 'Chikin', and a few other bird species native to Beremon Island, all with incredible abilities to adapt to their changing environment. As they near their goal, they begin to appreciate the importance of protecting all living beings on the island, even the ones that are seemingly weaker. It becomes clear that their initial goal of catching a bird, no matter how noble, had been misguided. What they had intended as a rescue mission turned out to be a means to discover something much more profound. Ultimately, they learn that by helping preserve the balance and harmony among the island's inhabitants, they not only help the injured bird back to health, but also become key contributors to the well-being of the entire island ecosystem. In the end, they successfully return the magnificent creature to its natural habitat, where it can once again thrive as part of the island's unique and diverse ecosystem. However, it is not just the bird that changes. As they make their way back home, they realize the profound lessons they've learned on Beremon Island. This remarkable journey has transformed their perception and understanding of their place within the greater ecosystem, a profound change that would undoubtedly shape their lives and adventures going forward. The lessons learned on the Island of Miracles will stay with them forever, reminding them of the incredible beauty of life and its intricate connections.
