Edward Scissorhands

Plot
In the picturesque suburban town of Suburbia, a mysterious and fascinating stranger emerges, sending shockwaves of curiosity and unease through its tranquil residents. Edward Scissorhands, a being created by the absent and reclusive inventor, Vincent, is a testament to the ingenuity of science gone awry. With his topiary-perfect hair, slender fingers, and a pair of scissorhands that refuse to obey his will, Edward is a creature unlike any other. His maker's departure leaves him vulnerable, an unfinished experiment in the hands of fate. As a giant, glittering soap bubble bursts in the autumn air, captivating the attention of every resident in the town, Edward awakens in the abandoned mansion of Vincent. Initially disoriented and lost, he begins an exploration of his surroundings, stumbling upon a series of captivating trinkets and knick-knacks filled with magic and whimsy. These small treasures prove to be an escape from the burden of his scissorhands, whirring incessantly with an unpredictable force. Perceiving the vast, labyrinthine corridors of the mansion as a maze to be conquered, Edward advances into the unknown, finding solace in the comfort of repetition. Until, that is, the town awakens from its slumber, exposing him to their often-critical gaze. The bevy of uniform residents rush to claim the fantastical event as their own, and quickly the town buzzes with gossip and speculation. News of Edward spreads with lightning speed, as every denizen scrambles to get a glimpse of him, both fascinated and repulsed by his unconventional hands. Kim Boggs, the kind-hearted daughter of the Avon salesman, Kim Dough and Peg Boggs, catches wind of the rumor surrounding Edward and initiates a discreet correspondence with him, sending in the form of carefully crafted words on scraps of paper, with answers arriving in neat handwritten cursive. Edward sees Kim as a connection to the world beyond the confines of the mansion, encouraging him to dip his scissorhands into the uncharted territories of his creator's master design. Kim and her friend James, a friendly face from the group who remains particularly unenthusiastic about the whole scandal of Edward, initiate interactions, convincing their neighbors that embracing the mysteries of this artistic oddity might bring about hope and progress. When Edward reappears, bewilderment quickly escalates to anxiety within Suburbia, pushing the townspeople to reflect on their narrow worldviews. Lest his tender instincts prove too much for Suburbia's stiff sensibilities, James intercedes, connecting with Edward's need for security as a friend with open arms. The beautiful, yet shallow, high schooler, Peg's granddaughter, Audrey initially appears hostile, especially after witnessing the tender exchange between these unlikely teenagers. Edward gives evidence of his innocence as friends continue to engage him, dispelling the community's concerns. Meanwhile, in a whirlwind romance blossoming at this very moment, Peg wins an admiration which could never have been predicted for her family, for she takes a liking to the charming Edward - they bond with mutual compassion, and soon after developing feelings for him which only exasperate the resident's fear and judgment. However, just when his assimilation has been normalized, and like an artist mastering his art, Edward is violently rejected once again by the townspeople due to some remarks by the older, uptight resident's party, which, rather mysteriously, chooses them over Kim and the cherished but misunderstood vagabond. The town's transformation would end up as brutal as an onslaught on Edward, forcing James, and Kim through the fear of the uncertainty.
