Hackers

Hackers tells the story of two young protagonists, Acid Burn (played by Angelina Jolie) and Zero Cool (played by Jonny Lee Miller), who are computer wizards in their own right. The tale begins with Zero, known for his incredible speed and skill in typing, being busted by the US Secret Service for hacking into the Pentagon's computer system to pay for a video game using the money in a bank account belonging to a high-ranking military officer. Zero's impressive speed allowed him to navigate the system quickly and avoid getting caught by the system's internal security, but in the process, he attracted the attention of the authorities. Ergo, Cereal, and Doozer (played by Fisher Stevens) work on creating backdoors in the Daedelus system, allowing Zero and Kate to access sensitive computer files. Phreak, too, emerges as an unexpected ally, who helps the group in their quest to expose Dade's plan. In a thrilling finale, Zero, Kate, and their team face off against Dade in a high-stakes showdown. Using their computer skills to stay one step ahead of their pursuers, they track down the virus's source and eventually foil Dade's plan, exposing him and his accomplices. Zero and Kate, now romantically involved, find a way to use their unique skills to outmaneuver the authorities and avoid further punishment.
