Kept Woman

Kept Woman

Plot

In the seemingly idyllic suburban neighborhood, Jessica and her fiancé Evan have just moved into their dream home, a stunning property that embodies the perfect blend of modernity and classic charm. As they attempt to settle into their new surroundings, Jessica can't help but feel an air of unease, a lingering sense that something is amiss. It starts with a seemingly innocuous encounter with her new neighbor, Simon. On the surface, Simon appears to be a friendly and affable individual, always eager to chat and get to know his new neighbors. However, Jessica begins to notice a subtle yet distinct trend in Simon's behavior - a propensity for embellishing the truth and veiling reality in a web of deceit. When she catches him in a lie, a simple white lie about the weather, Jessica's intuition kicks into high gear. She can't shake off the feeling that there's something more to Simon's façade, something sinister lurking beneath the surface. As the days go by, Jessica's curiosity grows, and she finds herself obsessed with unraveling the mystery of Simon's true nature. She begins to observe him more closely, noticing the way he scrutinizes the neighborhood with an almost obsessive intensity, as if he's searching for something (or someone). The more she observes Simon, the more she becomes convinced that he's hiding something, but what exactly, she can't quite discern. The tension reaches a boiling point when Simon lures Jessica into his home, seemingly under the guise of offering her a gift - a beautiful cake, adorned with icing that resembles the perfect, idyllic suburban life. But as Jessica enters Simon's abode, she's met with a startling sight - a secret bunker, meticulously decorated in the idealized style of the 1950s. The bunker is a shrine to the perfectly domesticated life, where women were expected to be subservient and domestic, and men held the reins of power. Jessica is shocked and terrified as Simon reveals his sinister intentions, locking her inside the bunker and trapping her in a living nightmare. The bunker, it turns out, is a product of Simon's warped imagination, a manifestation of his twisted desires and obsessions. He's been watching Jessica, and he's determined to keep her as his captive, a prisoner in a world of her own making. As Jessica navigates the bunker, she begins to realize the full extent of Simon's depravity. He's a master manipulator, using his charm and charisma to control those around him, particularly women. The bunker is a space where he can recreate the perfect, patriarchal society, where women are subservient and men hold the reins. Jessica, trapped in this nightmarish world, must find a way to escape and reclaim her life. Throughout the ordeal, Jessica's fiancé Evan remains oblivious to the danger lurking in their midst. He's too caught up in his own plans for the future, which doesn't include the unsettling suspicions of his fiancée. As Jessica fights for her freedom, she must also confront the unsettling truth about her own role in their relationship. Are they truly meant to be, or is Evan just as entangled in Simon's web of deceit? The stakes are raised as the tension builds, and Jessica finds herself trapped in a desperate bid for survival. Will she be able to outsmart Simon and escape the bunker, or will she become the latest victim of his dark obsession? The answer, much like the truth about Simon's intentions, remains shrouded in shadows, leaving the viewer on the edge of their seat as they wait for the thrilling conclusion.
