Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

Plot

In the world of "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes," several generations have elapsed since the rise of Caesar's regime. The social dynamics have shifted, with the apes emerging as the dominant species, while humans reside in the shadows, relegated to a subordinate status. The current ape community thrives under a semblance of peace and order. Humans, having largely adapted to their new roles, live in seclusion, fragmented into smaller groups, each maintaining a limited level of autonomy. As time passes, this fragile coexistence has allowed the apes to flourish, developing a sophisticated culture and societal structures. At the heart of this harmonious ape community is Chief Cornelius, a wise and visionary leader. His rule has endured for many years, and during his tenure, the apes have formed strong alliances, fostering a deep-seated sense of unity and cooperation. Cornelius's reign is marked by a well-organized society, where each individual has a clear role to play. However, amidst the tranquility, a dark force stirs, threatening to upset the delicate balance of power within the ape community. Anew faction emerges, driven by a younger and more ambitious ape named General Wesker. Born into a influential family, Wesker's primary objective is to expand the ape kingdom, imposing his dominance over other ape colonies. Wesker, unlike Cornelius, is driven by a hunger for power and control. He sees the current social hierarchy as weak and vulnerable to exploitation. With his charisma, cunning, and tactical prowess, Wesker rallies a loyal following, primarily from the younger and discontented segments of society. On the periphery of this rising conflict is a young ape named Milo. The son of a former member of Caesar's loyal guard, Milo is torn between his pride in his family's legacy and his own desire for adventure and self-discovery. Haunted by the ghosts of his past, Milo becomes increasingly disillusioned with his life in the confines of the ape community. As Wesker's ambitions continue to grow, his intentions become increasingly clear. In pursuit of expansion, General Wesker eyes the human settlements, intent on absorbing their territory and incorporating their resources into the ape kingdom. Fearing this development could spell catastrophe for both apes and humans alike, Cornelius begins to confront the threat posed by Wesker's rising power. As tensions escalate, Milo finds himself drawn to the edge of the ape settlement, driven by an insatiable curiosity about the world beyond his own and a growing sense of discontent with the constraints of his society. It is then that Milo ventures into the last remaining human settlement, a sprawling metropolis bearing a haunting resemblance to those of old. Milo's journey takes him across vast distances, navigating through lush forests, brackish wetlands, and crumbling ruins. During his odyssey, he becomes entangled with a human survivor, Rachel. The experiences they share in their temporary alliance will leave a lasting impact on Milo's perception of his past, challenging the fixed narratives of his culture and society. Rachel is an old woman with a rich history, her eyes having witnessed the wars between apes and humans. Despite her age, Rachel's fiery spirit, kindness, and ancient wisdom offer a vision of the past that was previously unimaginable to Milo. The shared moments between the two forge an unbreakable bond, influencing Milo's choices and setting the foundation for his future actions. Throughout his journey, Milo grapples with existential questions, often torn between the expected virtue and duty his family instilled in him, and the principles of justice, compassion, and understanding nurtured by his experiences in the post-Caesar era. Cornelius's own values are tested as he weighs the costs of confronting Wesker's autocratic ambitions. The delicate equilibrium between the ape and human populations hangs precariously in the balance. The uncertain circumstances confronting each group demand moral courage, wisdom, and leadership in the resolution of the internal conflict within the ape kingdom and its impact on its relationships with the remnants of human society. As tensions reach a boiling point, Milo makes a choice that will impact the destiny of the ape kingdom and the course of human history. His decision sets a foundation for a budding new era where both apes and humans might re-establish their relationship, leaving open a future that depends on both sides reconciling their shared past and forging a new path forward.

For villains' reference: When you see your opponent start doing weird things, don't ask why, just kill 'em. What did the antagonist ape even do wrong? He just wanted to revitalize the country through science and education, and strengthen the country with talent.

Evolved just enough; any further, and they'd be clocking in. A little less, and they'd be on the menu.

Growing up in the countryside was idyllic – carefree days spent climbing trees, exploring mountains, and raiding birds' nests with my friends. But adulthood beckoned, and I followed my fellow villagers to the city to find work. Soon enough, I found myself in a coastal factory, provided with food and lodging, and subjected to the big promises of a local boss aspiring to expand his business empire. City life felt like navigating a concrete jungle, and sometimes I lost my way, longing for the pastoral melodies of my rural home. Then, a returnee from overseas joined the factory. she claimed the the boss only got to where he was thanks to good connections, and that she was the one who truly held the advanced technology from abroad. So I made up my mind to follow the returnee, I doing tasks willingly, never complaining. Little did I know, the overseas returnee, was a spy from the competitors who wanted to sabotage our plan. Now, the factory crumbled, the local boss went bankrupt, the returnee joined the overseas companies. And, I came back to my village with my childhood friends, and lost our lives as city workers...
