Leprechaun

Plot
In the 1993 horror-comedy film "Leprechaun," directed by Mark Jones, a magical and malevolent leprechaun named Horace Goldsmith wreaks havoc on a group of unsuspecting individuals who unintentionally stumble upon his hidden treasure. The story commences in the 17th century, where the film's protagonist, a diminutive but malevolent leprechaun named HoraceGoldsmith, makes a pact with a wicked sorcerer, trading a portion of his lifespan for infinite gold. Following the sorcerer's untimely death, HoraceGoldsmith is bound to the earth, forced to live for eternity with an insatiable thirst for gold. In the present day, a wealthy businessman named Richard Lynch purchases an antique mirror and a gold-encrusted box, inadvertently unleashing the malevolent spirit back into the mortal realm. Believing that the group of young people who inadvertently release him are responsible for stealing his gold, HoraceGoldsmith sets out to exact his revenge. The group includes a group of friends consisting of Daniel Manning, a lovestruck young man struggling to balance his relationships; Tory Redding, a free-spirited artist with a penchant for the supernatural; and her friends Michael and Whitney. The group soon discovers the malevolent entity lurking within their walls, terrorizing and killing anyone who dares to cross him. However, despite their initial fear, they manage to devise a plan to outwit the diminutive creature. As HoraceGoldsmith continues to wreak havoc, the group is torn between their need for self-preservation and their genuine disdain for the diminutive creature. However, HoraceGoldsmith will stop at nothing to reclaim his gold. Employing both cunning and brute force, HoraceGoldsmith manages to eliminate the majority of his victims and traps the remaining group within the confines of their isolated rural abode. However, Daniel Manning takes matters into his own hands by using an Irish folklore that claims the only way to defeat a leprechaun is by trapping him inside a shoe. Manning successfully captures HoraceGoldsmith by luring him into a large, hollowed-out boot, subsequently trapping the vengeful entity within. As a result of the boot, HoraceGoldsmith is slowly crushed by its constraining walls, rendering him helpless.
