Lethal Weapon 3

Plot
Lethal Weapon 3, the third installment in the iconic buddy cop franchise, sees the dynamic duo of Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson) and Roger Murtaugh (Danny Glover) face off against a unique and formidable adversary. This time around, their quest for justice pits them against the cunning and ruthless Internal Affairs Division Captain, Anthony Murtaugh's (Joe Pesci) son, however Riggs and Murtaugh's focus will be on a retired narcotics cop. Leland Monroe, the former cop who uses his knowledge of police procedure and policies to steal and sell confiscated guns and ammunition to local street gangs, is the film's primary antagonist. Monroe is a former narcotics officer with a seemingly innocuous demeanor but beneath this façade lies a ruthless individual who utilizes his inside knowledge to plunder the LAPD's evidence room, amassing a substantial fortune in the process. Utilizing his vast knowledge of police policies and procedures, Monroe exploits these vulnerabilities to plunder valuable assets meant for disposal, thus exacerbating the city's crime crisis. As the investigation unfolds, Riggs and Murtaugh uncover a web of deceit and corruption that reaches the very top echelons of the LAPD's Internal Affairs Division. Their quest for the truth, however, doesn't remain unproblematic for the duo, as they find themselves at odds with the unyielding and manipulative IAD Captain, in addition to their complicated personal lives and the impending retirement of Murtaugh. Monroe sees a huge chance by selling stolen guns to local gangs who are wreaking havoc in the city streets. Monroe and his gang have stolen an arsenal and intend to put it on the black market for a profit. However, as their profits increase and Riggs and Murtaugh close in, their intentions turn sinister, and tensions escalate. The stakes have now become a lot higher.
