Lifted

Plot
In the animated comedy film "Lifted," we are introduced to Elzar, a cocky and overconfident teenager from planet Zorgon. Elzar is a student at the planet's Intergalactic Abduction Academy, where he is training to become a professional alien kidnapper. His instructor, a no-nonsense alien named Captain Nebulon, is tasked with teaching Elzar the skills necessary to successfully abduct humans from Earth. During a mission to practice his skills, Elzar selects a target – a sleeping farmer named Joe – under the watchful eye of Captain Nebulon. As Elzar climbs aboard his spaceship, the Zorgon-V6, he is warned by Captain Nebulon to use precision and a gentle touch when abducting Joe, emphasizing that the stakes are high and the consequences of failure are severe. However, Elzar's overconfidence and lack of attention to detail quickly become apparent as he navigates the complexities of human abduction. Despite his best efforts, Elzar causes a series of comical mishaps, including accidentally activating the spaceship's tractor beam, setting off a loud alarm that wakes up Joe, and even getting his head stuck in a small air vent. Meanwhile, Captain Nebulon watches the chaos unfold on a control panel in his office, shaking his head in disappointment. He has been forced to train countless Zorgon teenagers like Elzar, only to watch them fail miserably in their attempts to abduct humans. Despite his tough exterior, Captain Nebulon is a veteran of the alien abduction program, and he knows that Elzar's failure is not unusual. As the day wears on, Elzar's attempts to abduct Joe become increasingly bumbling. He accidentally sucks up a cow instead of Joe, and then proceeds to get distracted by a group of chickens that he discovers in the spaceship's cargo bay. Despite his best efforts, Elzar is unable to successfully abduct a single human, and his failure becomes embarrassingly apparent to Captain Nebulon. The film's climax takes place when Elzar and Captain Nebulon receive a message from the Director of the Intergalactic Abduction Academy, demanding to know why Elzar has failed to complete his mission. Determined to prove himself, Elzar decides to take another shot at abducting Joe, but things only get worse for him. In a bizarre twist of events, Elzar accidentally causes a series of chain reactions that lead to a massive explosion in the farmhouse, where Joe is living. In the aftermath of the explosion, Elzar is summoned to appear before the Director of the Abduction Academy, where he is forced to face the consequences of his failure. Captain Nebulon stands by Elzar's side, defending him from the Director's wrath and advocating for him to receive another chance. Ultimately, the film ends on a hopeful note, with Elzar reflecting on the lessons he has learned from his failed mission. He realizes that abducting humans requires a combination of skill, attention to detail, and a gentle touch – qualities that he still lacks, but is determined to develop. As the camera pans out, we see Elzar and Captain Nebulon standing side by side, ready to face the challenges of their next mission together.
