Plot
Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch, is a 2005 American animated science fiction comedy film and the sequel to the 2002 animated film Lilo & Stitch. The film is the sequel to the 2002 live-action adaptation Lilo & Stitch, directed by David Alan Smith. The movie opens with a flashback of Lilo and Stitch's life with Nani after the events of the first film. We then see the current situation. The movie begins with Lilo struggling to maintain a normal life with her sister Nani and their adoptive family. Nani has begun dating a nice gentleman named David, and Lilo finds it difficult to share her sister's attention. Meanwhile, the 624th Experiment, Stitch, has been experiencing some strange glitches in his computer chip, which cause him to malfunction and act out of character. Lilo notices Stitch's unusual behavior and begins to worry about his well-being. However, despite his glitches, Stitch continues to perform his usual tasks to ensure that Lilo stays safe. As Lilo navigates her changing life and relationships, she and Nani must deal with the increasing pressures of being a family. They are struggling to cope with their new life and the increasing financial burden of supporting themselves. At the same time, Lilo must keep a close eye on Stitch as he continues to experience glitches. One day, Lilo and Nani decide to participate in a family talent show at school, with Lilo's friends in mind. Lilo wants to win the competition with her ukulele performance. However, things don't go as planned, as Stitch gets out of control, causing chaos at the school during the talent show. Lilo and Nani face numerous challenges trying to contain Stitch while also preparing for their entry. They enlist the help of Cobra Bubbles, Lilo's friend and trusted guardian, who lends assistance in containing Stitch. Throughout the movie, Lilo comes to a realisation that no matter how perfect things seem, there's always going to be chaos involved. This concept also translates to her family life. With her and Nani being raised as 'ohana, by their family being the community around them, they understand that things may change, but they have to deal with the challenges and love for one another. The movie ends with Lilo and Stitch enjoying a happy moment together. They go on to participate in the family talent show, and though they don't win, it's evident that they had fun, regardless of the outcome.
