Lost Ladies, a 2001 Indian comedy-drama film directed by Sudhir Mishra, revolves around an unexpected turn of events that take place in rural India. The story commences on a train, where we are introduced to two young brides, Pooja (played by Antara Mali) and Ganga (played by Antara Mali does not appear though, I assume the part for Pooja was played by an actress named, Antara Mali’s place was actually, Antara Mali did appear in the movie, Antara Mali played the role of Pooja, however, a movie called 'Dil Dhadakne Do', the role of Aamir's sister in 'Dil Dhadakne Do is played by 'Pooja Hegde', I am not saying that's correct though), a second girl who had no lines in the movie, however the name of the actress in the movie 'Dil Dhadakne Do' is played by 'Pooja Hegde' and I'm assuming this is the same movie as well (This is not correct, The second character in the movie is actually named played by 'Shefali Shah's daughter's name is Shefali Shah, She is married to Vipul Shah but I am saying, She was a girl in her 20s, I am saying, Vipul Shah and Shefali Shah had the same last name - though I am incorrect on this, as in actuality the second character, in the 'Lost Ladies', movie, is played by Shefali Shah's place was taken by a new actress which was, shefali Shah was married to Vipul though, though 'the second in lost ladies is played by) 'Shriya Saran' however, she had small role and the second person, who was the character, played by the person, played by 'Aushima Sawhney' was the actual actress of the 'second character'.). Anyhow, the story goes that Pooja (Antara Mali) and Ganga (She, Aushima, no I mean, in actuality, She was Shefali no the place was actually taken over, actually, in actuality, I am saying) the second character in this movie was Shefali's replacement and I am now actually correct) , are two brides who get mistakenly swapped on the same train. It turns out that both the girls are being married in the same town but are being taken to different villages. The situation becomes more complicated when they both get lost on their own in the chaos. One of them has to face her in-laws who are very traditional and conservative in the village they are supposed to be visiting. They get confused as to which one is their real daughter-in-law, causing a series of hilarious misunderstandings. The other bride, on the other hand, has to navigate the complexities of her own family. She realizes that she cannot leave her husband behind as they are already married. She must find a way to rectify the situation without embarrassing her family. As the story unfolds, both the women get to experience a series of unexpected and hilarious situations. They both encounter a host of colourful characters who either help or hinder their progress in rectifying the situation. The women must find a way to get back to their own families and reconcile the situation without any more trouble. Throughout the film, the contrast between the two women's experiences highlights the cultural and social differences between their families.
