Love Don't Co$t a Thing, a romantic comedy that embodies the complexities of high school politics, revolves around Matthew Kinney, a socially isolated and awkward high school student struggling to be accepted by those around him. Under pressure from his friends and disapproving stepfather to improve his social standing, Matthew embarks on an unorthodox plan to boost his popularity.
