Main Hoon Na

Plot
Main Hoon Na is a 2004 Indian action-comedy film directed by Farah Khan and produced by the Red Chillies Entertainment. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Suniel Shetty, and Amrita Rao in pivotal roles. At the prestigious Saint Teresa's Boys College, the students and teachers are excited to bid farewell to their beloved principal, P.K. Mehta, as he is scheduled to retire. The principal's daughter, Lakshmi, also a student at the college, has caught the eye of a radical militant known as Raghavan. Raghavan, a former student of the college, has been seeking revenge against the college and its principal since they thwarted an attempt by him to cause chaos at the institution. Lakshmi, unaware of the danger, goes about her daily college life, surrounded by her friends and admirers. As Lakshmi's father prepares to leave the college, he receives news that his life is in danger due to his involvement in thwarting Raghavan's previous plans. In the meantime, Major Ram Prasad Sharma, a skilled and brave army officer, has received a mission directive from his superior, General Pratap Rao Singh, to protect Lakshmi from Raghavan's gang. The general's life is at stake, as Raghavan is planning to take revenge on him for ruining his plans. To fulfill his mission, Major Sharma goes undercover as 'Aditya Shrivastava', a new student at Saint Teresa's Boys College. As Aditya, he starts at the bottom, trying to fit in and gain Lakshmi's trust. However, Raghavan's men start to get suspicious of Aditya and Lakshmi's increasing interactions. Meanwhile, Aditya starts to notice a student, Lakshmi, who bears a striking resemblance to his long-lost half-sister, Ria. Ria and Aditya were separated at birth, and the news of her whereabouts sends Aditya on a rollercoaster of emotions. As he navigates his way through the college social hierarchy, Aditya also tries to make friends with a group of outcasts and misfits who have been marginalized by the college authorities. The outcasts, consisting of a talented singer, a skilled dancer, a budding journalist and a tech-whiz, come in handy when Aditya needs their help to get close to Lakshmi and uncover Raghavan's plans. As the mission progresses, Aditya and Lakshmi grow closer, sharing stories of their family lives and values. Aditya tries to open up to Lakshmi about his estranged brother, but Lakshmi senses that something more than a brotherly bond is brewing inside Aditya. As the day of the principal's farewell approaches, the authorities of Saint Teresa's Boys College try to keep a low profile, fearing that Raghavan and his men may attack. Despite their efforts to prevent chaos, Lakshmi finds herself at the mercy of Raghavan who starts to taunt and terrorize her. With the clock ticking down to the farewell, Major Sharma's mission becomes more complicated as he tries to balance his loyalty to the general with his growing emotions for Lakshmi. In the climactic final act of the film, Lakshmi takes matters into her own hands, fighting back against Raghavan and his goons with the help of her friends and Aditya. The outcasts and the college's marginalized social group rise up to join forces with the authorities, thwarting Raghavan's attempt to cause chaos. In a dramatic showdown, Aditya faces off against the radical militant, saving Lakshmi from Raghavan's clutches. In the aftermath, General Pratap Rao Singh is grateful to Major Sharma, but is also touched by the news of his estranged brother's whereabouts. As Aditya, the soldier, returns to his true identity, he also discovers that Ria, his long-lost sister, is indeed Lakshmi, the object of his affection. The film ends with Aditya reuniting with Ria, and the siblings embracing their newfound bond as they celebrate their victory over Raghavan's evil plans.
