Enter Pasupathi (Malavika Mohanan's character, though this was initially a male character) aka Masi's ex-boyfriend, aka a crime lord's nephew, who becomes the central antagonist of the story. His real name is Pasupathy, the ex-brother-in-law to Vijay and has a personal stake in the success of the school. He has been using the school as a front for his illicit activities, exploiting the children and manipulating them into serving his purposes. Pasupathy, whose true intentions are masked by his smooth-talking, cunning demeanor, is a master manipulator who stops at nothing to get what he wants. Unbeknownst to Viji, Pasupathy has set his sights on the school, intent on using its resources to further his own criminal ambitions. As Viji gains the trust of his students, particularly the fiery and passionate Pasupathy, he begins to see the world through their eyes.
