Megamind

Plot
In the bustling metropolis of Metro City, an extraordinary alien named Megamind (voiced by Will Ferrell) crash-lands as a child, washing up in the outskirts of the city. Abandoned by his parents and left to fend for himself, Megamind quickly adapts to his new surroundings. Despite being an outsider, he displays a remarkable intellect, showcased by his genius-level intellect and extraordinary abilities. Recognizing an opportunity to rise above his mundane circumstances, Megamind channels his ingenuity into becoming a supervillain. Inspired by the selfless heroism of Metro Man (voiced by Brad Pitt), the city's iconic champion and Megamind's long-time nemesis, the alien mastermind sets his sights on conquering Metro City. Megamind's spectacular appearance on the scene is marked by a string of daring heists and mind-bending pranks that confound the authorities and cement his position as the city's archetypal madcap. Undeniably, his spectacular intellect makes him a formidable force to be reckoned with. Meanwhile, Metro Man remains an unwavering hero, cherished by the people of Metro City for his bravery and unwavering commitment to justice. The rivalry between the two nemeses intensifies as Megamind perpetually strives to top Metro Man's heroics, pushing him further into the role of villainy. A pivotal confrontation with Metro Man leads to a cataclysmic event that sees the latter plummet to his apparent demise during a spectacular explosion. This moment marks a defining shift in Megamind's life; no longer the perpetual runner-up to the city's beloved hero, Megamind becomes the de facto overlord of Metro City. He takes credit for his hero's demise, elevating himself to hero status in Metro City and suppressing his rival's legacy. Years pass as Megamind basks in his newfound hero status, which begins to leave a bad taste in his mouth, despite the endearment he garners from the people. The alien mastermind undertakes to fill the vacuum Metro Man left by creating an equally iconic hero to rival himself. This attempt however proves futile, with Megamind creating Titan, an imposing hulking brute (voiced by Jonah Hill) he equips with superhuman strength and agility. Despite his monstrous design, Titan struggles to excel in his intended role as Metro City's avowed hero. Titan (short for Titanus, pronounced "Titan-eye-us") rapidly evolves from being a boisterous bruiser to an avaricious and cunning hero who does not adhere to a hero's code. Unbeknownst to Megamind, Titan becomes increasingly embroiled in a life of vice, misinterpreting the nature of heroism, of self sacrifice, and doing what is right for his own benefit. With increasing power go his indulgences, including a penchant for seducing and pillaging the great city, with its most vulnerable inhabitants walking into his clutches. Tina, Megamind's endearingly obnoxious sidekick and childhood friend, remains Megamind's confidante. Her sagacity ultimately helps him come to terms with his intended creation gone awry, steering him towards redemption. As Megamind struggles to comprehend the transformation of Titan from well-intentioned hero to destructive force, a final confrontation erupts to determine Metro City's future.

The scene of fighting to the tune of "Welcome to the Jungle" is the stuff of my childhood dreams!

80/100. It's the tale of esteemed news anchor Li Ruiying falling for a bald, blue-skinned, eyeliner-wearing, foundation-loving supervillain! PS: I knew Brad Pitt wouldn't just be a cameo; he's definitely got a bigger role!

How am I ever supposed to listen to "Loving You" calmly again?! LOL

What exactly did Megamind's parents tell him before sending him away?
