Naruto Shippuden the Movie

Plot
The movie begins with destruction unfolding in the world. During a flashback, it is revealed that the world was once on the brink of destruction due to the return of Ogres, powerful and evil demons. However, thanks to the sacrifices of four ninja from a nation called the Hidden Leaf Village, the Ogres were sealed away once again. Years after the incident, the village is now at peace, but that peace is suddenly disrupted. The return of two Ogres is announced, and they roam the countryside, carrying out destructive attacks and destruction. The leader of the Hidden Leaf Village, Tsunade, appoints a team to track and stop the Ogres. The team assigned to a new case also encounters the demon who brought the two ogres back, but a mysterious figure, the shrine maiden Shion from the country of demons, seals the demon away, ensuring that the world is safe from its evil power. As a result of the seal, the Ogres lose their power and return to their original form - they revert into humans and ultimately become a small infant, leaving the village shaken. However, the story's beginning lays the foundation for the development of the demon Shion seals. As a skilled shrine maiden from the demon nation, Shion possesses two extraordinary abilities. Firstly, she has the power to seal demons back into their natural form and capture or banish them if deemed a threat to the community. Secondly, Shion possesses the ability to predict accurately and unerringly, the deaths of humans. To safeguard her skills and the world's stability, Shion is brought to the Hidden Leaf Village in a temporary alliance between her demon nation and the Hidden Leaf Village. As such, an unscrupulous group of rogue ninja from the village sets a dangerous challenge and puts an outrageous level of pressure on the village for a chance to steal the powerful demon seal technique. In light of this fragile peace, Tsunade orders her elite, top-ranked team to guard her. Naruto, one of the top, finest ninja in the village, is tasked with the responsibility. However, upon learning about Shion's skills, she predicts Naruto's death with profound certainty, stating "I sense that this 16-year-old person will not see tomorrow." With a calm, tranquil demeanor, Naruto hears this prediction and contemplates the potential validity of such a dire prophecy. Given Shion's prediction, it would seem logical to prioritize his safety above all else, to avoid and get far away from Shion and protect himself. This rationale puts Naruto and Shion in a conflicting position. The main reason is that Naruto cannot reveal this prediction to Tsunade, nor can he bring up the idea of separating from Shion without abandoning the mission, as Shion would put herself in grave danger. Thinking, after intense mental consideration, the path the main challenge narrows to just one. The demon nation has prepared an adequate understanding that this demonic creature is in line with a demon's ultimate goal: total annihilation. Consequently, through an ancient written prophecy, Naruto gathers some crucial information. By thinking of an abstract connection between the mission and the premise to have him achieve the target safely, it leads him to understand what the demon's 'predition of death' actually is and why.

The homoerotic undertones are a bit too blatant.

Okay, here's an English translation that tries to capture the nuances of the original review: "I only watched this because a certain review made it sound really shippy. Honestly, *Naruto* itself is great, but maybe the movies just aren't necessary."

They actually dared to use scenes of Sasuke and Naruto from the trailers to deceive viewers with false advertising, but thankfully, the last ten or so minutes returned to the theme of "bonds." As expected, when a couple works together, their strength can break metal. Boruto cutting through the stone wings and his farewell to (cough, cough) Sasuke was also quite direct.

Meh! I'm not really a fan of Naruto's obsession with Sasuke. Unless it's supposed to be some kind of "true love," why is Naruto always going on about bringing Sasuke back and changing him?
