In the late 1990s, Miami is a city of sun-kissed beaches, vibrant nightlife, and a thriving fitness culture. It's against this backdrop that we meet Daniel Lugo, the charismatic and ambitious manager of the Sun Gym, a small but bustling gym on the outskirts of town. Lugo is a man with a clear vision for his life, and for the lives of those around him - he believes that success, wealth, and power can be achieved through sheer force of will and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get ahead. Lugo's confidence is infectious, and he soon recruits two of his muscled-up gym members, Paul and Adrian, to join him on a lucrative business venture. With their combined brawn and Lugo's silver-tongued charm, the trio sets its sights on an all-American dream of easy wealth and success. Their plan, however, takes a darker turn as it begins to take shape.
