Partysaurus Rex

Plot
Partysaurus Rex is a 2012 animated short film created by Pixar Animation Studios and directed by Mark Walsh. Serving as a spin-off to the 2010 film Toy Story 3, it is narrated by Jeff Garlin as the voice of Rex, a toy dinosaur suffering from acrophobia. Set at a young child's dinosaur-themed party, the short revolves around Rex feeling left out and abandoned after being left behind in the bathroom. Feeling sorry for himself, Rex decides to occupy himself with a party that no one else has thought of. He gets to work, turning on the bathtub taps, and creating a miniature water park where a group of newly introduced toys can have the time of their lives. Among these toys are the "Splinkys," which are small toy snakes that swim in the bathtub and are seemingly quite popular. Rex becomes enchanted by these Splinkys, who become his new and much-needed companions. Utilizing his long neck, which allows him to reach areas other toys cannot, Rex creates all sorts of fun and games for the Splinkys. As Rex sets about making the bathroom into a fun and aquatic playground, he puts his limbs to use by creating mini water slides, splash pools, and even constructing a giant bubble machine. What starts off as an endeavor to simply make the best of being alone transforms into a full-fledged party, complete with all sorts of games and water-related fun. However, upon the party getting too rambunctious and causing the bathroom to become overrun with Splinkys and other water toys, Rex becomes increasingly worried that the adults will become angry when they see the chaos. The short culminates in Rex's fears coming true, but instead of getting reprimanded, the adults who walk into the bathroom are overwhelmed by the sheer excitement and joy displayed by both Rex and the Splinkys. The party is seen by everyone, and the adults can't help but be charmed by it. The scene ends with Rex being carried around by the adults, beaming with happiness as he holds on to the Splinkys he has grown to care for. The child's dinosaur-themed party, originally intended to be a source of fun for the child, becomes an impromptu party, and Rex, in particular, seems to have rediscovered his love for being part of the action. The film ends with the sound of the child excitedly cheering on to the fun while the adults chuckle at the unexpected sight before them, and Rex's happy squeaks fill the air as he joins the merriment.
