Piranha 3DD

In the summer of 2012, a sequel to the successful 2010 film, Piranha, was released. The latest installment, titled Piranha 3DD, brings back some familiar characters and introduces new ones as the prehistoric piranhas wreak havoc on a small town. The film begins with the arrival of Maddy Geller, a college-bound teenager who returns to her hometown of Feldmont, New Jersey, after spending her senior year at another school. Maddy's arrival causes tension as she reconnects with her mother, Maddy (not the character, the woman herself, in this scenario is actually a character named Maddy's mom) Dannielle, who is working at a water park. Maddy discovers that her mother Dannielle has bought a struggling water park, 'Water slide Paradise', with her boyfriend, Kyle, who dreams of transforming it into the best water park in the county. However, Maddy's plans for college do not fit in with her mother's water park ambitions. Despite some reservations about her new living situation, Maddy is happy for her mother and decides to stay and work at the water park. Things begin going awry when water park-goers start getting eaten by giant piranhas. A series of gruesome murders occurs as water park guests get dragged away by the bloodthirsty fish and meet their demise. Maddy soon discovers that the prehistoric piranhas, which were previously introduced in Lake Victoria, have traveled through the water system and migrated into the local pool systems and water park. As the water park falls into chaos, Maddy must team up with her colleagues, including a handsome and somewhat charming lifeguard and her friend, for an attempt to contain the threat and save her mother and coworkers before they fall prey to the deadly fish. In their battle to stop the piranhas, the trio also discover that the fish migration was not an accident – the owners of Lake Victoria resort had been draining water from Lake Victoria into the Feldmont water system, resulting in the piranhas making their way into the town's pools and water parks. This led to a sequence of violent attacks on the guests and employees at Water slide paradise. As the attacks reach their peak, Maddy and her friends must work together with Dannielle to save the water park. In a climactic battle, Maddy and her colleagues face off against the ferocious piranhas in the water park's main attraction – a large pool with various water slides. In the end, it is revealed that Dannielle had been in on a plot to sabotage the water park. The plot was to make Water slide paradise a major failure so her partner could collect insurance. Maddy, who had been trying to get to the base of the problem, confronts her mother about the sabotage, realizing that her mother was involved. With this revelation, the piranhas are contained, and the town is saved. In Piranha 3DD, writer and director John Gulager delivers on his promise of bringing horror and fun together at Water slide Paradise, with this movie, and the cast gives it their best shot to make it an entertaining experience for the viewers.
