Rope

In Rope (1948), two young men, driven by a twisted intellectual superiority, strangle a classmate to death and hide his body in their apartment. To prove their brilliance, they host a dinner party with the victim’s family and friends, subtly taunting them. As the evening unfolds, their former mentor grows suspicious, leading to a tense psychological showdown.
