Scooby-Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster

Plot
The Mystery Inc. gang had been in Erie Point for only a short time, but they had already gotten themselves into a bit of trouble. Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy had taken on seasonal jobs at the local summer resort to earn some money to pay for a barn they had accidentally burned down while trying to cook a meal on the stove, in the process of trying to cook a gourmet meal using an old campfire cooking technique. The owners of the barn had been quite understanding, but the incident still weighed on the gang's minds. As they settled into their new roles at the resort, they noticed that something was amiss. Guests were arriving and leaving, but they didn't seem to be enjoying themselves. It wasn't long before they discovered the reason why. A mysterious lake monster had been spotted in the waters of Lake Tahoe, and it was scaring the living daylights out of the resort's patrons. The gang knew that they had to get to the bottom of this mystery, and fast. They began to investigate, talking to the other employees at the resort and trying to gather as much information as they could about the lake monster. Shaggy and Velma were particularly interested in the stories of the monster, and they started to brainstorm possible explanations. Meanwhile, Fred and Daphne were tasked with keeping the guests calm and entertained. They put on a show, trying to distract the visitors from the monster sightings, but it wasn't long before the gang had to reveal the truth. They had discovered a hidden cave beneath the resort, and in it, they found a giant fake monster made out of inflatable materials. However, just as they were about to reveal the truth, the real monster was spotted on the surface of the lake. It was much larger and more menacing than they had anticipated, and the gang knew that they had to act fast. They quickly came up with a plan to catch the monster and reveal it to the guests. As they watched the monster from a safe distance, they noticed that it seemed to be pulling the guests towards it, as if it was trying to hypnotize them. The gang knew that they had to act quickly, before things got out of hand. Their plan was to use a camera to capture images of the monster, and then reveal it to the guests. Velma used her knowledge of robotics engineering to hack into the camera system and get close-up shots of the creature. Shaggy and Scooby created a diversion by sneaking onto a boat and creating a splash, drawing the monster's attention away from the guests. Fred and Daphne meanwhile had been keeping an eye on the guest list, and they noticed that all the people who had seen the monster were all connected to the resort in some way. They discovered that the resort's manager, Mr. Jenkins, had been faking the monster sightings to drive business away and make the resort look more attractive to buyers. As they confronted Mr. Jenkins, they realized that he was behind the whole thing. The fake monster was his attempt to scare people away and make the resort look haunted. But his plan was foiled when the gang revealed the truth to the guests. The resort's patrons were relieved to know that there was no real danger, and the resort's reputation was salvaged. As for Fred, Daphne, and the gang, they had solved another mystery and saved the day. They also got to enjoy a nice dinner at the resort's restaurant, courtesy of Mr. Jenkins, who was too embarrassed to refuse. It was a win-win situation for everyone, except for Mr. Jenkins, of course. The gang's romance was also flourishing. Daphne and Fred were growing closer, and Velma had even caught Shaggy's eye. The summer was turning out to be a great one for the Mystery Inc. gang, and they were excited to see what other adventures lay ahead. As they left the resort and headed back to their home, they couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. They had solved another mystery, and they had done it together. They were a team, and nothing could beat the thrill of solving a mystery with your best friends by your side.
