Shark Night 3D

In the small town of Lake Charles in Louisiana, a group of seven college friends, Sarah (Sara Paxton), Zeke (Dante BASIS), Beth (Alyssa Diaz), Blake (Chris Zylka), Nancy (Amy Castle), Malcolm (Joshua Jordan), and Allan (Joel David Moore) have gathered at a beautiful lake house for a weekend getaway. Their weekend of revelry and camaraderie is set amidst the picturesque backdrop of Lake Charlevoix. At the beginning, it is clear that this group is made up of carefree and reckless college students who seek out excitement and thrills wherever they can find them. The weekend begins on a high note, with an impromptu skinny dipping session, partying, and an atmosphere of camaraderie and friendship. However, their carefree revelry is disrupted when Nancy, who had gone to her room to change, suddenly disappears. Her absence sparks concern, but it isn't until their partying subsides that they realize that she is gone. The group soon discovers that Nancy's disappearance is not the only mystery at hand. Allan, Nancy's boyfriend, seems particularly unsettled by her disappearance. At first, they shrug off Nancy's disappearance as a joke or her attempt to make a quick exit, but as night begins to set in, the group's mood begins to shift. They start to search for Nancy, calling out her name and frantically looking around the lake. However, as the darkness deepens, they start to find more than just a missing friend. The friends soon discover that a massive alligator had grabbed Nancy and pulled her into the water, only to reveal her dead body, which is later shown to be an alligator's kill. A series of unexplained, gruesome deaths, each more brutal and mysterious than the last, sets the group into chaos. At first, they are unsure of the cause of these fatalities but soon, they attribute them to an aquatic creature in the water. The group tries to make contact with the authorities but their cell phone has no signal, which further isolates them. Desperate to survive, they begin forming a plan to fend off the creature in the water. They try to stay as safe as possible, boarding up the windows in the cabin, and preparing for the worst, but they soon realize that their survival is far more unlikely than they had hoped. Meanwhile, Blake takes it upon himself to investigate the cause of the attacks, thinking that these may be due to a prehistoric predator that has invaded their waters. After conducting a thorough search, he eventually discovers a small, ancient fossil buried in the riverbank. This fossil eventually leads them to a cave and further deepens the mystery of the creature's origins. Blake's search ultimately reveals the identity of the aquatic creatures - 16-foot bull sharks that have somehow been drawn to the lake. As it turns out, the lake had a unique ecosystem at the time of the dinosaurs, where these prehistoric predators roamed, but after the dinosaurs' extinction, this lake had been cut off from the larger ocean. The group eventually comes to the grim realization that these prehistoric predators were trapped inside this lake, waiting to strike again, with the bull shark as the primary predator in the lake. As more bodies pile up, the group becomes more desperate and divided, and as panic sets in, their friendship begins to fray. Zeke, the initially laid-back character, is shocked to learn of the shark's true nature and is devastated to learn that his friend Nancy met her demise at the jaws of this prehistoric monster. The tension among the group grows thicker as they frantically search for a way out of their situation. Zeke discovers Beth in the lake and the two of them come up with an ill-fated rescue plan. They end up trapped by alligators which leads to them trying to escape. Their survival is made even more difficult when Blake's theory is proved right when they encounter a large group of bull sharks. In the heat of the moment, Blake finds a small boat that has remained afloat since the start of these gruesome events and decides to rescue his friends from the lake. He successfully rescues Sarah and Allan, although Sarah gets gravely injured. The rest of the group is left to fend for themselves. In the chaos that ensues, Allan and Zeke are ultimately separated from the rest when a group of alligators attack. Sarah, after being rescued by Blake and suffering an injury, is driven to the edge of her sanity, becoming convinced that she too will meet the same fate as her friends. However, Zeke eventually manages to escape and, with Beth's help, reaches the boat that Blake and Sarah left behind. As the remaining survivors fight hard for their lives, Allan makes his final stand against the creatures in the water. Zeke, Beth, and the rest of their group eventually make it back to land but the price they paid was too high, as Allan was the last to die.
