In the town's dark past, Rose found the truth. It was tied to a mysterious cult determined to explore an unclean realm by summoning something outside human understanding. Silent Hill was but a prelude to this ultimate disaster where, against an onslaught of unrelenting tempests and untold horrors, its inhabitants had been forced to confront what they had earlier suppressed deep within themselves. Upon knowing the source of their trials, the darkness within themselves started to reveal itself when they'd witnessed alluring visions drawn from the unknown entity which would come to be known as "demon."
