Terra Formars

Plot

In a desperate bid to save humanity from extinction, the United Nations formed the Biodome Project. As a response to the catastrophic effects of climate change on Earth, its main purpose was to find a new home for the world's population. However, with the red planet Mars offering an ideal environment and natural resources, humanity set its sights on colonizing the unforgiving Mars. A key factor in this endeavor was terraforming Mars, which aimed to create a habitable environment for future human settlement. Led by the renowned scientist, Dr. Manabe, a team of scientists devised a solution to this seemingly insurmountable task. By using a mix of cockroaches and mold, they created a symbiotic relationship to create the optimal conditions for terraforming Mars. The cockroaches' corpses would serve as a food source for the mold, allowing the bacteria to absorb sunlight and multiply rapidly, in turn accelerating the warming process of the Martian atmosphere. By harnessing the power of these tiny organisms, scientists aimed to create a self-sustaining system capable of transforming Mars into a new home for humanity. Twenty years had passed since the introduction of the cockroaches and mold on Mars, and the planet was now primed for human colonization. In 2577, the first manned mission to Mars, codenamed JX-12, was scheduled to launch. This highly anticipated mission consisted of six crew members, handpicked for their exceptional skills in various fields, including commando training and expertise in advanced technology. The crew members, comprised of the captain, Shinji Ando; Dr. Shigematsu, a renowned botanist; Dr. Koji; the intelligent and cunning Dr. Zhang; and two seasoned commandos, Akane and Hase, were more than ready to embark on this historic journey. Their mission objectives were simple: to collect data, deploy the terraforming equipment, and ensure a successful landing on Mars. Upon arrival on Mars, the JX-12 crew noticed that the planet's atmosphere seemed remarkably different from what they had predicted. They began their surface explorations, only to be met with unspeakable terror. In a desolate Martian landscape, the crew discovered hordes of monstrous, humanoid cockroaches, with the ability to think, move, and adapt at an alarming rate. These mutated beasts, far from their intended purpose as a food source, seemed to have developed into formidable adversaries. The Martian terrain proved unforgiving, with harsh conditions, strong winds, and temperatures that plummeted to -100 degrees Celsius. The crew soon realized that they were outnumbered, outgunned, and outmatched, as these massive creatures proved resistant to conventional attacks. Before they could even comprehend the gravity of their situation, the entire crew perished, unable to withstand the relentless assault of the mutated cockroaches. As news of the crew's tragic fate reached Earth, panic quickly spread. The world held its breath as the possibility of humanity's extinction was now starkly apparent. Governments around the world scrambled to develop a counter-strategy to deal with this unexpected menace. The solution came in the form of an elite task force, the VAS (Vergatessus Agen), a secretive group of highly skilled warriors trained to face the Martian horrors head-on. This team of fearless individuals, handpicked from the most skilled forces on Earth, was tasked with infiltrating Mars, finding a way to contain the threat, and ultimately reclaiming the red planet. Led by Daisuke Akechi, the VAS forces are put through rigorous training, honing their combat skills and developing cutting-edge technology to tackle this monstrous enemy. Equipped with superior intelligence and a deep understanding of the Martians' tactics, the Vergatessus Agen embarked on a perilous journey to reclaim Mars. The stakes were higher than ever, as the war between humanity and the alien-like cockroaches reached a boiling point. Would the VAS be able to successfully reclaim Mars and secure the future of human civilization, or would the merciless force of the mutated insects prove too crushing to withstand? The answer would determine the fate of humanity and the future of the world.
