The Bodyguard

In the midst of Tokyo's vibrant streets, former karate champion and anti-drug crusader, Tetsuro "Chiba" Sugaya, makes a shocking return to his homeland. He has spent years honing his skills overseas, fighting against the global spread of narcotics, but now he sets his sights on ridding Japan of the illicit trade that threatens to consume its youth. In a bold move, Chiba announces his plans to dismantle the country's underworld by any means necessary, and offers his services as a bodyguard to those willing to aid him in his quest. Seemingly out of nowhere, a mysterious and alluring woman appears at Chiba's press conference. Unveiling herself as Erika, she takes Chiba aside and reveals that she possesses explosive information regarding the drug syndicates operating within the city's borders. She explains that her late brother, a former addict, had become entangled in the underworld and had planned to expose the organization's leaders. Tragically, her brother was silenced before he could reveal the truth, leaving Erika seeking justice for her sibling's memory. Eager to take on this task, Chiba agrees to serve as Erika's bodyguard, as she begins to reveal her sources within the organization. Their association proves to be a delicate one from the start. Chiba finds himself drawn to Erika's courage and determination, but his instinct as a vigilante and a protector keeps him cautious. The situation becomes even more complicated as Erika finds herself being pursued relentlessly by the very people Chiba has dedicated himself to eliminating. They are relentless, with little hesitation in taking out potential threats, be they friends, allies, or innocent bystanders. As Chiba finds himself walking the tightrope between keeping Erika safe and uncovering the truth about her allegiances, the city spirals further into chaos.
