In the 14th-century Joseon Dynasty, a talented and gifted geomancer named Gwan-geom (played by Lee Jung-jae) possesses the extraordinary ability to read people's faces, discerning their past, present, and potential futures. This unique talent has earned him recognition and respect from the royal court, where he serves as a trusted advisor to the young King Jeongjong of Goryeo. However, Gwan-geom's world is disrupted when the child king dies under mysterious circumstances, and the throne is seized by his uncle, Gyu, also known as King Gongyang.
