The Phoenician Scheme

Plot
The Phoenician Scheme is a 2006 South Korean action-comedy film directed by Ahn Ka-Hee. Set in 1905, during the Russo-Japanese War, the movie follows the adventures of a group of rogues, led by a Greek man named Atrakas, played by Lee Min-woo. However, in the context of the given overview, "The Phoenician Scheme" might also be referring to the movie of Hwang Jung Eun, 2009 TV series "Dong Yi", but most likely to a Korean film 'Shadows in the Palace' also known as "The Palace".
Reviews
Jace
Wes Anderson, with his signature postcard-perfect mise-en-scène, an additive textual strategy bordering on information overload, and a mannered, almost mechanized style of performance – a formula that, at this stage, yields little in the way of genuine surprise.
Selena
Likely Wes Anderson's most "mainstream" work since The Grand Budapest Hotel. The clear and direct main plot and core emotional relationships lower the entry barrier, but still burst with kaleidoscopic visual efficiency and creativity. The shift between tragic and comedic tones remains fluid (and overlapping, like the sudden elements of graphic violence), with all-around "beauty" on every level (though I still prefer The French Dispatch and Asteroid City).

Wes Anderson should invest in POP MART rather than keep writing about his ingenuous boy & rebellious woman & old fart dad stories.
