The Royal We

Plot
In a world where tradition and duty rule the royal courts, Princess Samantha "Bex" Nichol, played by Zoe Kravitz, has always been the rebel of the royal family. She has never been interested in the traditional royal life and has always sought freedom and individuality. However, when her older sister, Princess Margarita "Dri" Nichol, falls head over heels in love with a non-royal man, Bex is tasked with taking her place in an arranged marriage. Bex is forced to travel to the small kingdom of Barden to attend a royal ball and marry Prince Nicholas of Belfrey, played by Louis Garrel. Prince Nicholas is a prince from a smaller country who has been betrothed to Bex for years. It's a duty he takes seriously, but not necessarily something he's passionate about. The marriage will unite the two kingdoms, securing a future for the future rulers and maintaining a delicate balance of power between the two nations. Upon her arrival in Barden, Bex is struck by the quaint beauty of the kingdom and the charming prince who will soon become her husband. She's also met by her new assistant, Nigel, played by Byron Jenkins, who has been tasked with the daunting job of preparing Bex for her role as the future queen. Bex is resistant to the idea of adapting to royal life, and her initial reluctance is met with a mix of amusement and frustration from the prince. As Bex spends more time in Barden, she finds herself drawn to the charming and quirky people, including the prince's sister, Rose, played by Anika Noni Rose, and his best friend, Sebastian, played by Max Minghella. Bex begins to see the royal life in a different light and starts to question her own identity and purpose. She also starts to develop feelings for a student, Oliver, played by Wyatt Russell, she meets on campus while she's at Harvard, and who has no idea she's actually a princess. As the arranged marriage approaches, Bex finds herself torn between her duty to the kingdom and her growing feelings for Oliver. She begins to question whether she can truly follow the path laid out for her or forge her own path. Meanwhile, Prince Nicholas is dealing with his own set of worries, as he tries to navigate the complexities of royal duty and his own heart. In a world where the royal family's image is everything, Bex's unconventional behavior becomes a liability for her family and the kingdom. As tensions rise, Bex must decide between her loyalty to her family and her own desires. Will she choose to follow the path laid out for her or will she take a chance on true love? As the story unfolds, Bex finds herself torn between two worlds and two loves. Prince Nicholas, the charming royal, and Oliver, the charming student, both want her, but she's unsure which path to follow. In a thrilling conclusion, Bex must make a choice that will change the course of her life and the future of the kingdom. With its witty dialogue, charming characters, and a story that explores the complexities of royal life and true love, "The Royal We" is a heartwarming and romantic comedy that will capture your heart. As Bex navigates the challenges of royal life and the demands of her heart, she must confront the ultimate question: who am I, and what do I truly want out of life?
