The Silencing

William Fichtner stars as Will Gerhart, a reformed hunter who has spent years atoning for past mistakes in a tranquil corner of New Mexico. Living a secluded life with his wife's blessing, Will works as a handyman and takes on odd jobs to make ends meet. The peaceful existence is, however, disrupted when a series of gruesome murders takes place in the nearby town of Silverton. As a sense of dread settles over the community, Sheriff Glenn Beckwith (Keith Carradine), a gruff and battle-hardened veteran of the force, is called upon to investigate the murders. His inquiry reveals a string of similar murders committed by a mysterious assailant who seems to be leaving a trail of blood in his wake.
