The Smurfs 2

Plot
The Smurfs 2 takes the beloved village of the Smurfs and catapults them into a new world of adventure, with a twist of the classic recipe that has made them so endearing to audiences around the world. Gargamel, once the primary antagonist in the Smurf world, has managed to not only create new life in the form of the two rambunctious creatures known as Vexy and Hackus but also attain an unexpected and somewhat comedic measure of fame in the city of Paris. The Smurfs, although primarily located on their forest home, are constantly receiving sightings of the new and mischievous creations of Gargamel's imagination - the Naughties. Papa Smurf believes that these creatures will lead them to an important goal and quickly assembles a team consisting of the already lovable blue inhabitants: Clumsy, Grouchy, and Vanity. This group, fueled by determination, quickly departs their homeland for Paris in search of Smurfette, who it turns out, holds the key to turning the Naughties into real Smurfs. As Clumsy, Grouchy, and Vanity journey across the world they are able to settle and bond with Patrick and his half-sister Grace. With whom they had shared special moments on their previous adventures, these Smurfs are more than eager to accept their blue companions once again into their busy yet comfortable home. However, their biggest challenge has yet to come. As Gargamel starts receiving an abundance of adoration from millions across the world, his motivations and ultimate goal reveal themselves in the worst possible way. It seems that not only has he decided to conquer the world with the magic of Smurf Essence but also has a certain obsession in Smurfette which he holds it is the sole cause to why his magical works and that he believes only the essence that Smurfette holds can help him achieve the one thing he cannot otherwise take - genuine leadership. To put things into motion, Gargamel promptly kidnaps Smurfette and proceeds to display an electrifying mix of powers and theatrics that seem to cement his reputation as the world's greatest sorcerer. Once back in Paris, Smurfette is faced with a completely foreign reality: one that seems to be trying to mold her in its own image. It's here that she is shown an incredible opportunity to connect with two creatures who remind her a great deal of her past - the lovable but chaotic duo of Vexy and Hackus. Not to give too much away but their interaction turns into an adventurous game of choice as the Naughties, Smurfette and the ones trying to rescue her also all create strong points that eventually help reach their overall goal. Over time, these unusual bonds will bring Smurfette to four major conclusions: choosing the Smurfs who rescued her repeatedly, the love she had for her friends in the Smurfs' village that she had felt she couldn't join altogether, finally some special bond she shared with her new - mischievous yet equally blue parents - in short, all the reasons why Smurfette could come to the realization that she indeed needs the loving company of those who cared for her originally.
