The Whole Nine Yards

James Briggs (played by Gabriel Byrne), a ruthless hitman for the notorious crime lord Jimmy LaMotta (played by Michael McShane), has been granted another opportunity to redeem himself from the consequences of his past actions through cooperation with the FBI. As part of an elaborate witness protection program, he is given a new identity and relocated to the tranquil suburban town of Sunland, California. This new life is supposed to be a fresh start for James, allowing him to leave his violent past behind and live a peaceful existence away from the constant threats of the mob. The authorities have chosen the perfect disguise for James, complete with a new name, Jimmy "Orlando" Civello, and a completely new set of circumstances, including a mundane office job at a printing warehouse. However, this seemingly perfect setup is soon disrupted when a couple of Briggs's neighbors begin to unravel his true identity. Jimmy 'The Tulip' Tulien (played by Bruce Willis), a quirky and eccentric neighbor, has always been fascinated by the peculiar behavior of the Civello family. He notices small inconsistencies in their lives, from their odd behavior to the peculiar security measures they have taken at their home. Jimmy 'The Tulip', an ex-military man turned gardening enthusiast, has a fascination with gardening and a particular hatred for cacti.
