The Fog

Plot
The small, idyllic town of Antibes, California is bracing itself for a momentous occasion - its 100th anniversary of incorporation. The townsfolk are bustling about, preparing festivities to commemorate this milestone. Unbeknownst to them, however, a sinister and malevolent force is beginning to manifest its presence in the tranquil coastal village. One of the first signs of this impending doom is the inexplicable and frightening phenomenon of inanimate objects coming to life. As residents of Antibes go about their daily routines, they start noticing that houseplants are twitching, mannequins in shop windows appear to be watching them, and other seemingly ordinary objects are exhibiting bizarre and ominous behavior. Reverend Malone, the town's erstwhile spiritual leader, begins to experience unsettling visions that hint at a dark secret surrounding Antibes' founding. The reverend becomes increasingly obsessed with uncovering the truth, convinced that this hidden history is connected to the eerie occurrences plaguing the town. Radio announcer Stevie Fields is another resident who finds themselves at the epicenter of the strange happenings. While broadcasting from his local radio station, Stevie witnesses a mystical, otherworldly fire licking at the edges of town. This spectacle captivates him, leaving him with more questions than answers. Meanwhile, hitchhiker Elizabeth Williams stumbles upon a graphic scene - the gruesome, mutilated corpse of a local fisherman. This unearths a sense of unease among the townspeople, who are unsure of how to react to this unholy harbinger of doom. As the unsettling events escalate and intensify, the town is beset by a fog that appears as eerie and ghostly as the inanimate objects that sprang to life earlier. Borne aloft by no discernible wind, this iridescent fog envelops Antibes, casting an unsettling darkness over everything. The consequences of this transformation are predictably deadly; more townspeople succumb to an unknown supernatural force - apparently drawn to their village as prey. And at the heart of the mystery lies a gnarled, centuries-old mass grave deep beneath the streets of tiny Antibes...
