Thor: Ragnarok

Plot
In the space between realms, on the planet Sakaar, the mighty Thor finds himself bound and imprisoned, but not by choice. This is a fate imposed upon him by the Grandmaster, a formidable and flamboyant ruler of Sakaar, who seeks to indulge in the entertainment of others through gladiatorial combat. The stakes are high and the odds are against Thor, but he remains optimistic, knowing that his presence in this unforgiving environment has not compromised his will to survive and thrive. Sakaar, with its desolate wasteland, serves as a grand arena where various combatants from across the universe vie for survival. The arena is divided into four color-coded sectors, each alloted to inhabitants of various planets. The sector that Thor is part of is designated "Red", where warriors and those from fierce planets exhibit their strength in battle. As Thor showcases his incredible powers within the arena, he garners much attention from Sakaar's ruler, who considers him a prime contender for the "Friendly Games", a popular intergalactic event where Sakaar's inhabitants select from other realms, what prisoners to pit against each other for entertainment. These "games" also revolve around their cherished Grandmaster's overall reputation as an empathetic ruler. A self-destructive war-hungry giant, Miek, initially bonds with Thor, now on Sakaar as a "Champion", over hopes of witnessing his might. Not only does Miek witness Thor's power firsthand but he also forms a close friendship with the demigod. Heavily underestimating Thor's circumstances, Sakaar's audiences rapidly view him as some type of demigod warrior, elevating the morale and reputation of Thor much faster than possible. Upon his transfer to the "Games", Thor experiences a change in scenery as he moves from being a formidable warrior to being a star within a spectacle devised by the grandmaster. Meanwhile he adopts an unapologetic facade and acquires a sharp wit. One such spectator, who endures his circumstance on the Grandmaster's Sakaar with despair, seems helpless in this immense galaxy but is seen looking forward to the prospects of change by merely witnessing a prisoner demonstrate such boundless heroism. Thor's star-studded reputation generates a sudden reaction among his onlookers and they, therefore, now experience aspirations of having a triumphant leader, willing his people forward, instead of dreading their inescapable circumstances. Not only Sakaar's audience, but the very survivors who once existed in hopes of seeing survival change by having such glimmer of hope - both embody change through seeing Thor outshine his tragic imprisonment. Now more of an undisputed star of Sakaar's top spectator sport, Thor receives his prize from the Grandmaster: the enchanted axe Stormbreaker and the hand of the Grandmaster's assistant, Valkyrie - in whom the same glimmer stirs from the same glimmer of hope that exists in Sakaar's residents. Determined to avenge his fellow "Gladiator" Korg, who is the Kronan Hulk's best friend, on one end, and also to get back to Asgard and save the world from the impending doom of Ragnarok on the other, the Asgardian's long-held objective of reaching home creates an internal moral struggle. Thor's new found ambition involves more complexity and consequences as the mission of saving Asgard from Hela puts an unlikely warrior as an unwanted part of his travel in more direct contact with the woman he has fallen for - due to having, therefore saved from oblivion by that very same Valkyrie - he soon comes face to face by the sudden surprise arrival of their old and unpredictable friend from the previous universe of the film, Korg's partner - the Hulk. Knowing of Thor's plight and disbelieving of not merely Thor being "helping" by his fellow.
