Tiger on the Beat

Tiger on the Beat is a 1988 Hong Kong action comedy film directed by Ric Waai. The movie serves as a buddy cop film, following the story of seasoned Detective Yip Pong-Fei, played by Richard Ng, and his rookie partner, Detective Lee Yin, portrayed by Michael Tiu. The plot begins with a significant heroin trafficker being mysteriously murdered, leading the duo to delve into the world of crime to uncover the truth behind his demise.
