Turbo

Plot
In the animated comedy-drama film "Turbo," we meet Theo, a garden snail who lives in a small suburban garden owned by a caring woman named Tito. Theo is an ordinary snail, sluggish and content with his mundane life, where the highlight of his day is navigating the same old paths through the garden. However, amidst the tranquility, there's a sense of longing within Theo, a burning desire to achieve something extraordinary. Theo's idolism for racing is evident in his miniature replica of a Indy 500 car and his endless watching of the racing events on television. He aspires to one day participate in the prestigious Indy 500, despite his physical limitations as a snail. Theo faces ridicule from his friends, particularly a condescending earthworm named Olimpian and snail friends, Chuy, Sergio, and Carlos, who find his aspirations to be an absurd dream. One fateful day, Theo's life changes after being caught by a speeding truck and involved in a freak accident. The incident doesn't kill him, but it manages to grant him an extraordinary gift - a boost of speed, equivalent to a turbo boost in race cars. After the accident, Theo finds himself transformed into an extraordinary snail, capable of moving at incredible velocities and dodging hazardous objects with ease. Excited by this newfound ability, Theo chooses to get out of the garden and embark on a journey, guided by three racing radio brothers - Bobby, Bull, and Robbers - who have broadcast a segment criticizing the Indy 500 drivers, viewing them to be stale and not having the knowledge required to truly understand the feeling of high-speed racing. Theo, who has now acquired incredible speed and agility, tries to contact the famous driver Rush - a known rival and personality in the racing world - but in return gains access to the Indy 500 track as a food item for Kevin the Lobster who has access to rush for charity work. Upon arriving at the Indy 500 headquarters, Theo is met with ridicule and skepticism by the drivers, particularly Rush, who scoffs at the idea of a snail participating in the event. Undeterred, Theo convinces a trio of sibling radio broadcasters – Bobby, Bull, and Robyers – that he's legitimate and embodies the true spirit of racing as an underdog contender. Swayed by Theo's determination, they publicize his incredible feat of speed to the world. As news of the record-breaking snail begins to gather momentum, Theo catches the attention of Tito, who joyfully recognizes his grandson Theo. Racing's top driver, The King or the driver, Guy Gagne and teammate, Luis, are not pleased to see Rush under pressure since the increased expectations weighed on his already already plagued past bad luck and tension with Tito's grandson as Gagne sees him as a danger competitor. However, Tito being an honest driver refuses to throw a dirty move and instead signs a temporary race partnership. With new odds building against him to stay relevant in the racing community. A host of high-tech and aggressive contestants along with rival - Michael Frustra, are aware of The Gagne Racing's strong ties with Tito and subsequently raise their stakes making the turbo-charged battle in the Indy 500 a never-ending situation for Theo. The narrative flows rapidly with no indication of an easy win now; Gagne also secretly supports Rush. Tito fights heavily to challenge the heavy odds stacked against his partner snail as it participates in the racing championships.
