Ultraman: Rising

Plot
In the science fiction film Ultraman: Rising, a young man named Shinjiro Hayata returns to his hometown of Shin Godzilla (as of the release is actually Tokyo) after receiving a call from Aichi Prefecture. His father, Shin Hayata, who had previously donned the iconic Ultraman suit to protect Tokyo from various alien threats, has fallen, and the city needs a new champion. Shinjiro feels that he has nothing to do with Ultraman's heroic legacy but decides to return home anyway. Right after arriving in Tokyo Shinjiro begins adjusting to life as an ordinary citizen but eventually receives a phone call from Shin's former assistant, Yuko Minoguchi, that gives him an idea about the legendary fate of his father - as he knew that Shin had actually died years ago in order to save Ultraman. But only with understanding, that things can not be totally lost. Feeling that there is still much to do as Ultraman Shinji, now dubbed Ultraman Pride takes on the role of saving civilians from a gigantic Birdman-like monster that suddenly appears and threatens homes in Tokyo's district. Ultraman Pride takes off in the sky of Tokyo straight away as every one begins viewing their new hero after witnessing his strength in battling monstrous Birdman at full force like an actual hero. Meanwhile, a hidden backstory is revealed through scenes showing past events in Tokyo's history. Not long ago Shin ji was the only son of an athlete with tremendous hope in his heart by many. He dreamt of going on to professional school, also he struggled especially with issues related to him since the time when his father was killed in an alien battle (like '90s episode of Ultraman anime series: 'Ultraman Zone'. However during the final moments of Father Shin leaving for space was a different, yet hopeful story and memory cherished by Shinji that not only signifies, how important things his father tried to make of him but also makes him understand and even reminds why staying in the spirit of what the legend founded in order to make a better future was and still is the key. It is apparent at this point that a large battle between Ultraman Pride and an apocalyptic legendary enemy shall soon take place in order to show viewers that it does not matter who or what you were previously - the thing that really matters is in who you decide to be at every single growing moment in your life.

Okay, here's a translation focusing on capturing the essence of the review and the presumed themes of "Ultraman: Rising": Ultraman: Rising weaves together seemingly disparate threads: baseball, adorable creatures, a desperate Avenger-type, and above all, *family*. The core strength will lie in how skillfully it explores and connects these elements. Without a clear intersection, it risks feeling fragmented, instead of building a cohesive and resonant narrative.
