In the 1970s, beneath the dense Canadian wilderness, a small community exists quietly, isolated from the rest of the world. However, this tranquil existence is disrupted due to a series of unexplained events. Unbeknownst to the residents, their underground world harbors an ancient creature, an invertebrate creature that has lain dormant for millions of years. As the poisonous chemicals seep into the cave system, the creature begins to undergo mutations, transforming into a grotesque and terrifying monster. With each new development of its twisted body, the monster grows in strength, its hunger for destruction and chaos escalating exponentially.
