Venom: Let There Be Carnage

Plot
Venom: Let There Be Carnage begins with a vibrant sequence showcasing the chaotic world of Spider-Man, amidst the city of San Francisco. In contrast, we see Tommy and Angelo, two of Eddie Brock's anarchist friends, on the run from a misadventure with the authorities. Meanwhile, Cletus Kasady, a convicted serial killer, is awaiting execution for his heinous crimes. The pivotal scene unfolds in a courtroom, where Kasady, during his final days, taunts his lawyers and the judge, revealing his dark sense of liberty and disrespect towards the law. In response, he mentions his symbiotic bond in his alleged past but judges him a liar. However, in truth, Cletus was not completely lying about his claims. In actuality, the court isn't aware of the darkness brewing inside him – a demonic alien symbiote has actually merged with Cletus, creating the alter ego - Carnage. Following Eddie Brock and Venom's thrilling battle with the first foes they encountered, Brock manages to save the lives of two detectives who were about to fall victim to Venom's unmitigated chaos. Subsequently, the establishment grants Brock a second chance to make a change, fostering a newfound relationship with Detective Dora Skirth and serving on the New York Police Department. Later in a series of gruesome flashbacks, we learn the tragic backstory behind Cletus Kasady's violent alter ego. Faced with decades of imprisonment, Cletus sees death as an end to his suffering. He arranges his own escape attempt and after multiple failed attempts to acquire an opportunity to reunite with his symbiote, he finds it after being impaled by his new monstrous form. Amidst Eddie Brock's new assignment as an investigator, he is increasingly drawn into the dark lives of his new acquaintances – Kasady in particular, revealing more about his mysterious new symbiote host. Brock's uneasy curiosity deepens, in defiance of his friend's better judgment. It only serves to increase the urgency in saving the innocent before Carnage returns with an all-new outburst of hate. In addition, the story progresses to display Brock's uneasy on-again, off-again relationship with journalist and TV personality, Anne Weying, where he desperately hangs onto her love for the human side of him. Brock must make the people he cares about stay safe. As time progresses, they seem to be one short step away from losing their final battles. With both Eddies engaged in seemingly endless turmoil when they finally meet in a spectacular showdown. On one hand, they see that their own bond grows, but both are puzzled as to what life could mean, and each is bent on continuing their fights, showing off their exceptional, wildly disparate characters only so much of them are seen. At the end, Brock learns the reason behind his eternal, ever-fading relationship is his failing interest in life's finer things – that there's just too much pain. However, to everyone's surprise, something extraordinary happens when their disparate demons finally finally intersect, in no time that leaves no one ready for an outcome. Leaving us all anxious about what goes on following Carnage's liberation, Eddie finds an entirely new bond within him – perhaps signaling his willingness to find solace. With that relationship being revealed after they try to finally find order in a world as wild as in 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage.'
