We Can Be Heroes is a 2021 American superhero comedy film directed by Robert Rodriguez and produced by 2.0 Entertainment. The movie revolves around a catastrophic event in which a group of powerful aliens, known as the "Acamarinos," capture the world's superheroes in a flash of lightning. The shocking capture takes the globe by storm, and the world is left defenseless against the alien invasion. However, the superheroes' kids, who were not affected by the initial attack, vow to set out on a perilous journey to rescue their parents and save the Earth from the clutches of an extraterrestrial foe. One of the story's core protagonists, Bob (Pope), the superhero father of Ms. Orlof and her husband, is kidnapped in the early chaos along with the majority of other major superheroes. The catastrophic attack transforms Bob's wife, Ms. Orlof, into a disbelieving villain who doubts the plan ahead that her son has as in contrast to the disbelieving villains who think her child can contribute some how as far as planning strategies are concerned. This dissection of her story does enhance character development and contributes to tension in the story ahead. The movie centers around a teenager, Ryder (YaYa Gosselin), the son of Miracle Guy, who decides to embark on an adventure to find his father and the other captured superheroes. He is joined by other superhero offspring, including April Lewis (Hala Finley), who is the daughter of Starlight, Maximillian Jenkins (Nash Grier), the son of Night Ninja, Ms. Orlof's disbelieving son, Animos, and Oscar Denman (Dylan Henry Hall), who is also the son of Stingsniper. As the adventure unfolds, the kids must navigate through challenging situations and acquire extraordinary abilities. The motivation behind Ryder and his friends' mission transcends their desire to rescue their parents; they are driven by a determination to save the Earth from the alien menace. The kids recruit a team of youngsters with extraordinary abilities and embark on a thrilling journey to the Acamarinos' underwater fortress, where their parents are being held captive. After ultimately saving their parents, the kids return home to reunite with their families, who had been anxiously waiting for their rescue. We Can Be Heroes serves as an entertaining and engaging superhero film for families and kids, emphasizing the importance of teamwork, unity, and friendship. The story captivates with its colorful characters, well-crafted plot, and contemporary themes that resonate with young audiences.
