Werewolf by Night

Plot
In the dimly lit streets, a somber atmosphere settles over the small hamlet, as a group of individuals clad in hooded cloaks and armed to the teeth with a mix of ancient and modern hunting gear make their way to the foreboding Bloodstone Temple. Their leader, Ulysses Bloodstone, has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of bloodshed and mystery. As these clandestine figures assemble within the temple's cold, stone walls, they share in a morbid ritual to honor Ulysses's life—paying tribute to the countless monsters of the night he brought down over the centuries. The mourners take a moment to reflect on Bloodstone's accomplishments and the trials yet to come. However, the proceedings quickly take a sinister turn as it becomes apparent that they are all here for something more than mere condolences. Ulysses has left behind a final task, a 'competition' if you will, where each member must prove themselves worthy of succeeding him. The challenge revolves around a powerful relic known as the Bloodstone Amulet, rumored to have the power to vanquish even the most formidable of beasts. Their guide, a cold yet calculated figure named Jack Russell, lays down the challenge: 'the hunt.' This perilous task has been laid before them all, and the stakes are higher than ever before. Those who succeed will inherit the revered position of Ulysses, while those who fail will meet a gruesome end, a fate Ulysses himself has devised. In the dark of night, the hunters embark upon their individual hunts, navigating treacherous terrain and avoiding death at every turn, in pursuit of the elusive and terrifying creatures that lurk within the shadows. Each hunter possesses a unique set of skills, forged through years of battles with creatures of myth and legend. Some wield ancient artifacts and talismans that grant them an edge in combat, while others rely on stealth, cunning, or an intuitive connection with the night itself. As one by one the hunters are culled, their skills and strength put to the ultimate test, an unrelenting and enigmatic force emerges, its presence sending shivers down the spines of even the most seasoned hunter. A monster roams these shadowy lands, an entity born from darkness, an abomination that haunts the nightmares of men—a werewolf. The creature's ferocity and tenacity drive the remaining hunters to dig deeper, their resolve strengthened by the presence of this fearsome beast. Their pursuit is not driven solely by the desire to prove their worth but also by a thirst for the thrill of the hunt. As night yields to the first hints of dawn, it becomes apparent that the werewolf is none other than Ulysses's son, Manuel, driven mad by his father's cruel methods and now doomed to roam the earth as a creature of the night. Jack Russell, the master of ceremonies, is torn between his duty to eliminate the werewolf and his bond as Manuel's guardian. In the end, Jack is faced with the ultimate decision: should he adhere to Ulysses's plan and bring about the werewolf's demise, crushing any hope of finding peace or a chance at redemption, or should he take a stand, choosing compassion over duty, and find a way to reclaim his charge from the clutches of the monster that now threatens to consume them both.
