Remi, a rebellious and creative teen, and Barnes, a model student with a penchant for football, live parallel lives in their small town. At the beginning of their senior year, fate brings them together in the cold, snow-covered streets of winter. It's a fleeting moment of chance that sparks a connection, but the moment passes, and they part ways without exchanging numbers or names. However, the brief encounter etches itself into their memories. Over the next year, fate decides to give them another chance, but this time, under a set of unique circumstances. Their fifth meeting, a few days after graduation, is supposed to mark a "goodbye" – Remi is leaving town soon, and they were not going to meet for a while. This supposed 'Final' meeting between them has an epiphanic effect as both understand they not going to have more days like they had together and it gets them to open up a bit. One by one, over the next four days, and in an eight-hour leap, across the course of a year, they might find themselves at similar places and share tales of the transformative journey of the past year since the beginning of their last meeting in the Fall. Upon spring day seven in time they would be attending Barnes graduating with academic honours whereas the time arrives to Remi and his peers where they've made their first major mishap or transition into the school career. Every four-day period moves into the next season of their lives – as a spring arrives Remi decides to plan a college semester in a town unlike his but initially feels homesick he now contemplates over the positive experiences. Every nine months they traverse love stories, graduation, missteps, laughter and self-encouragement they live out friendships over four days of time hence over two more of their days. They make new memories, hold each other accountable, have tough conversations, and bear witness to each other's evolution. Throughout their transformative four days they share stories, talk through personal crises, and encourage each other to chase their dreams, even if those dreams seem impossible. Barnes's parents expect him to attend an Ivy League, while Remi dreams of pursuing music; their decisions bring new challenges, fears and more opportunity. They wrestle with the weight of their mistakes – what they lost due to their love of this passing other or due to fear of confrontation their uncertainties about their own identities. They grow to understand that this time they shared changes their very own lives after it comes to their most vulnerable moments. Barnes grows from his fear of uncertainty, learning to take risks that bring more fulfillment rather than than comfort. Remi frees himself from old patterns that burden his imagination to allow adventure, which makes him grow from an aimless youth. He creates some very good and not so good songs for the audience but as Remi realises with each performance he moves a little more closer from home in songs, leading to more wisdom on music theory.
