X-Men: Apocalypse

Plot
In the X-Men universe, time has passed since the events of Days of Future Past. A new generation of mutants has emerged, including the energetic and enthusiastic Jean Grey, Professor Charles Xavier's most powerful student, along with young Cyclops, the son of Scott Summers, and more. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant, broke free of his ancient tomb and awakens in modern-day Israel, with an insatiable desire to reshape the world into a perfection that only he could understand. With a multitude of powers, Apocalypse assembles a team of powerful mutant followers - Psylocke, a deadly telepath and mind-reader; Stormrider, a robust and resilient mutant wielding the powers of weather manipulation; and the Angel, a powerful being who has the ability to fly at incredible speeds and also holds godlike strength, speed, agility, accelerated healing, and his beautiful silver wings. These followers, also known as the Four Horsemen, are the last stop before Apocalypse shares his goal for world survival and protection from what he thinks is doom. Meanwhile, in the safe haven of the X-Men's training center, Charles Xavier (Professor X), the renowned telepath with the power to read and control minds, must prepare the next generation of X-Men for battle. Charles attempts to ready a team that consists of Jubilee, one of the most skilled teen mutants wielding a pyrotechnic skills and more, and Storm the iconic mutant weather controller, who brings with her some extraordinary and impressive skills along with her team of young students at the Xavier Institute. Unfortunately, Charles falls into a coma, his connection to the United Nations failing, and the world takes a dark turn. Apocalypse unleashes his plan for world domination: he intends to break everything down and create anew from the remnants. The mutant-hating Magneto, witnessing the escalating rise of Apocalypse, can't help but be concerned about the outcome for mutant-kind and their existence, knowing that this time they aren't quite prepared to survive his doomsday designs. Apocalypse exploits this moment of vulnerability by capturing and twisting the greatest minds of the world, granting them powers that make them virtually invincible. Magneto takes it upon himself to safeguard human lives by hiding them away from these atrocities that he believes cannot be stopped, while the X-Men forge ahead into battle under the leadership of Moira MacTaggert. As our story unfolds, Charles' adopted daughter and one of his most talented individuals, Betsy Braddock, known as Psylocke, teams up with the morally conflicted En Sabah Nur (Apocalypse), forming an eventual alliance that forces her to become a threat to those she holds dear. Her complicated past brings a twist into this apocalyptic story. The confrontation now unfolds as four more 'Horsemens' make their moves on building the sinister plot intended by En Sabah Nur for establishing a utopian world controlled by only mutants. These 'four' consist of a well-known villain from the original trilogy - Nightcrawler, with his teleportation skills, and strong love for faith - however this time twisting his moral code to do work at En Sabah Nur's directions to form chaos throughout the world and recruit mutants under his protection that worships only at Apocalypse' altar; as well as four extra team members; Blink, the telepathic performer of extraordinary teleportation and wall manifestations; Plutona (Ogre) and multiple forms of Scales. The battle seems fierce, but our mutants rise to the challenge, giving renewed hope in their mission to take down this apocalyptic and most fearsome form, bringing with the arrival of Jean Grey who comes to terms with her newfound powers and in the process of learning and mastering them. Amidst a clash of titans, this next generation of X-Men understands their destiny truly and forges forward into their hearts and become true protectors of that utopia as Apocalypse gets eliminated along with Psylocke initially once being Apocalypse's number one warrior. In the final moments of every X-Men film - there is a change, good has prevailed and a new rise to an X-Manic world awaits.
