Watched it when I was a kid. Just marking it as seen. Gotta give it to the Americans, they already had a children's movie with such a strong sense of female empowerment way back in '08.

"Barbie saving the prince – that's the story and the ending I want to see! Her father's letter of recommendation proves useless, but her mother, who raised her single-handedly and runs the farm, respects her daughter's choices. The girls' rallying cry, their transformation spell, "All for one, and one for all," represents the natural order of dealing with people and nature, no longer about beauty and love. Girls are not just maids cleaning the house; girls are undefined. Even as female swashbucklers, they can be fashionable. Her sisters share her values and worldview, instead of competing for a single, useless male. The weak prince cannot offer the valiant Barbie the love she desires, so she can boldly..."

Teaming up with three like-minded girls, they form an unbreakable bond and together take on the evil plans of the nefarious Philippe. With action, humor, and friendship, this animated film is a delightful twist on the classic Musketeers tale, promoting girl power and empowerment. Stunning animation and catchy music make this film a treat for both kids and adults.
